Cancellation by the Client

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our clients and our operational requirements. All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

Cancellation Charges

How Refunds Are Processed

• Refunds are processed within 14 business days of receiving the cancellation notice
• Refunds are issued via the original payment method
• Bank transfer fees (if any) will be deducted from the refund amount
• For credit card payments, refunds will appear on your statement within 5-10 business days

Cancellation by Puercoespin Safaris

In the rare event that we must cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), you will receive:

• Full refund of all payments made, OR
• Alternative tour of equal value (subject to availability)

Force majeure includes: natural disasters, civil unrest, terrorism, pandemic/epidemic, government travel restrictions, or any other event beyond our reasonable control.

Booking Modifications

If you wish to modify your booking (change dates, tour, or number of guests):

• Changes are subject to availability
• Modifications made 30+ days before departure: Free (price difference may apply)
• Modifications within 30 days: Subject to cancellation charges

Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation. This protects you against unexpected circumstances that may force you to cancel your trip.
